Photographer’s Note
The most SEXY village at Faroe Islands
A village where night life, discos, free sex, wild women, boose and drugs are completely non existent asking me.
Kind of small dedication to some who now in our forum have found the time to discuss HITs (definition below) as a 'success' parameter.
Definition of: HIT's
The number of times a program or item of data has been accessed or matches some condition. For example, when you download a page from the Web, the page itself and all graphic elements that it contains each count as one hit to that Web site. If a search yields 100 items that match the searching criteria, those 100 items could be called 100 hits.
Ref: http://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia_term/
In this case the photo's title and first paragraph is used to test if it may influence the number of hits by any external search engine. (To be followed up later on..)
------------------------------------------------------------
The village itself is beautifully situated as so often out here in a small sheltered bay on the Faroe Islands. The app. 50 inhabitants have as always easy access to the little village church down by the shores of the Atlantic.
Maybe most of all this village look like some Legoland, real life, variation out there in the North Atlantic.
A good day for all of you ;-)

Bonjour Jack
Un joli cliché et une bonne prise sur ces maisons colorées. Celà me fait penser à une maquette ou à un village de poupées.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.

Im sorry Jack!
I just not really get it, even if I understand your note and your Idea, I might be stupid or maybe I should read the forum a bit more than I do.
I do like the picture though with or without rock n roll.

Hi Jack,
A wonderful shot. I love the view of all those colourful and beautiful houses. Perhaps one by one the houses are not very special but seen together they are really impressive. Great idea with the title. TFS and have a nice evening!
Cheers,
Ulf
P.S. Perhaps also that TE Member would like to see if your idea works will contribute to an even larger number of hits

Hola Jack.
If they remove your shot we and TE are loosing a very good one, I find your picture very well framed and captured from a good high POV giving us the chance to see this beautiful village with the church in the background and tiny cemetery just beside. The different colors of the roofs creates a colorful image.
Best wishes.

Well Jack,
Your experiment worked! I couldn't figure out what you meant by your title so I opened the thumbnail and found this lovely image of a very interesting place. I might have opened it anyway because it is very appealing indeed, but I suppose your title peaked my interest too! Anyway, it's a nice photo. I like the sharp angles of the buildings, the bold colours, and the great contrasts. Nice job!

Ha ha
At least it worked with me. I read the thread and was curious... because of my true interest for the Faeroe. I have never been there but went a (good°) while ago to the Shetlands.
Architecture here already makes me think about Greenland ... or Legoland :-)

Hi Jack,
trying to get your post hijacked on the 'big net'??? :-)! This said, I really love these 'puppet-house-villages' displaying all these colors.
Have a nice evening

Hi dear Friend
Interesting attractive title, your picture was shown until now by 207 members including my self.
Nice disposition of the houses in the frame; lights was soft, I think the sky was cloudly.
Best regards.
