[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is a photo of a window from the old fishing village of Dragør. Here you see the characteristic egg-yolk shade of yellow that is prominent on the houses of that part of the town.

I'd love to explain the decorations to the right and left of the window, but I can't. They are most commonly found on churches all over Denmark and Southern Sweden (I'm not sure of the rest of Sweden). I'm sure they have some meaning, or at least used to. Do any of you know?

I've seriously cropped this picture, sharpened the image, and enhanced the color slightly to correct for the fact this was taken at 13.00 when the sun was casting a glare.

Hi Kate!
Amazing window. Good lightness and contrast. Very good sharp and texture. Nice shot.
Regards!

Hello Kate.
Simple and nice.
I like the roof reflected in this window and the yellow color of this wall.
The central composition is appropriate.
Kind regards.
Bobo.

Ciao Kate,
very nice shot! I like very much the reflex on the window.
Good.

Silvia

Hi, Kate. You've chosen to centre your subject and I think it's a good idea because symmetry is important in such a picture. You've included interesting details in your image and I like the reflection in the window panes. It's funny to notice that the window sill is parallel to the frame, but that the decorations aren't.
Have a nice weekend,
Philippe

Hi Kate.
You are really doing it well. Excellent colors and fine suited cropping.
Perhaps I do think the things - the plant, eg. - in the window disturbs the overall "peace" and harmony of the picture, but first it is a minor thing, and secondly, you cannot remove these things when just passing peoples house... :)))
Have a nice weekend.

Hello Kate,
A nice capture of this pretty window. I like the tones and textures and the hint of the reflections in the glass. Very good sharpness.

Hello Kate,

Jolie façade, avec des détails, de belles couleurs.
Bonne soirée
Marie

Hello Kate

a straightforward yet delicate composition with beautiful textures, strong colors and that little extra touch added by the reflection on the window.

Nice piece of work

Emmanuel

Hi Kate!
I like very much that kind of pictures: simple, with lots of colors and contrasts. Pure.
Welle done!
