Photographer’s Note
There are very few fishing ports left on the east coast of Denmark, facing the Baltic Sea. The reason is that the Baltic is slowly becoming empty of sufficient fish to make it worthwhile for the fishermen to try and make a living there. On top of that a moratorium on cod has now finally been decided, which will give at least the cod a chance to regenerate. But it forces the fishermen to stay at home.
This is one of the few active ports left - the port of Rodvig. And in summer it is also a very active pleasure port, with a big yacht marina, because of the good location just 50 km south of Copenhagen.
What you see here is part of the industrial port, with a few tourist visitors in between the fishing boats. The visitors come primarily from Germany and Sweden.
I only resized and sharpened slightly.

Very fine and moody shot Per - I like the good reflections you got here in a good strong sunlight and with some very different looking boats. Nice job - thanks

The simplicity is sometimes so beautiful. I like the light and the colors. It's pure and clear.

Very nice use of the golden lighting. It has a quietness to it. Very calm and peaceful. And it also appears very much like a painting, especially in the reflections. I really like the details captured on all the boats. It is nice and crisp all the way through. I also like the lone seagull adding a nice movement to the shot. Catching that with the eye lets the eye sort of glide gently over the boats. Nicely spotted and photographed, Per.
