This is a quite difficult type of pp but your final result is superb. Managing two different lights is a serious job. The colours on the stained glasses are superb. Well done.

Hello Jonathan,
This is a very charming view with attractive subtle colours. I like the softening effect that the old glass has on the colours of the building ouside. The light conditions were obviously difficult, but the overall effect is well-balanced.

tu sembles faire référence à un WS, mais je n'en trouve pas.
mais passons, une super composition. C'est bien de ne pas s'être positionné face à la fenêtre mais de biais je trouve ça donne plus de profondeur et de vie.

Bonjour Jonathan,
C'est assez surprenant comme encadrement de fenêtre. On ne sait pas trop si l'on doit regarder sur les bords de la fenêtre où au travers de celle-ci. En tout cas, tu as parfaitement géré la lumière car la différence de luminosité intérieur / extérieur ne devait pas être évidente à gérer.

cette fenêtre hors du commun méritait bien d'être photographiée!Tu as vraiment bien su exploiter la lumière ;bien que ce soit en contre-jour,chaque détail est parfaitement visible, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur!Les couleurs sont superbes!Très beau travail!

Great photo of a corner of Frederiksborg Slot that I didn't know. It looks beautiful and the stained glass is a beautiful framing for the part of the castle outside, that is so nicely lit by the fine sunlight. The details are splendid. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Hello Jo,

Being a resident of Fredericksburg, Virginia, I am always attracted to scenes from Fredericksborg, Denmark, and this photograph would have appealed to me on its own rights. It is a well composed shot, and with very good exposure. I would have liked seeing it symmetrically composed, but you would not have been able to use a fill flash, considering the glass in the windows. Ideally, if lights had been set up obliquely on the sides, you could have created condition with symmetry as well as depth. As it is, this is a superb shot for the exposure you sought.

Difficult situation, exposing the sunlit outside view and the details around the window, I think it worked well, strange but nice, I like the way there is black space around the entire window.

Hello Jonathan,for me ,this shot works because of the angle of the presentation.The black edging somehow anchors the shot.
Two different light levels to manage,you did a wonderful job.
The stained glass scenes are all clear,as is the view through the window.

this is stunning. The old glass with its extremely artistic frame and the old building shining through. What makes it even better is the slight diagonal composition versus the frontal one that would have killed the image.

Que c'est beau tout ça !!! Mais c'est cette photo-ci qui me plaît le plus, avec cette belle façade jaune en miroir... et le jeu de carrés que j'aurais été tentée de corriger, ce qui aurait été une erreur...
Une belle succession de vues toutes intéressante, ça a dû te demander pas mal de travail !

La fenêtre en elle-même est trés intéressante, avec les petites vignettes de l'encadrement, et le fait d'avoir une vue à travers ces verres bizautés ne gâche rien bien au contraire. Trés réussi notamment du fait des différences d'éclairage.
