Denmark isn't a country known for its impressive trees but I think these are truly noteworthy. The guy off to the right is an average sized man. After taking this picture I looked more closely at the tree in the center. I would estimate it would take 6 people holding hands to get around this tree.
This picture is taken in the Mølleådalen in April. This valley has housed mills since the middle ages and I would guess that this lane is quite old. I tried to find a date as to when these trees were planted, but the brochure simply referred to them as old oaks.
This particular lane is located just east of the Frilands Museum, between Breden and Sorgenfri Castle.
I have two other pictures posted from this same valley, but taken in January:

Hola Kate, bella foto de ese camino con eso enormes árboles, dan un aspecto un poco misterioso. Buena captura, Felicidades. Un saludo.
Hi Kate
I fine shot of some very impressive old trees. I really like, that there's people in the picture, to get some sense of the size. My only critque would be, that the shot, to me, seems a little gray, and the colors lack some strength. But ofcourse this is not a summerpicture, and there aren't so many many colors to work with.
Thanks for the shot.
Patrick.
