Photographer’s Note

I got a free visit to the Zoo of Odense - but at that grey and windy day - the first in March wasen't there very much life outdoors -specially birds and animals which use to a warmer climate was kept indoors.
This was true for the pelicans as well - however did they try live as usual passing food to kids etc.

Godt at se et nyt billede af dig! Rigtig flot foto fra Odense Zoo, men hvad laver de to pelikaner? Det ser ud som om den ene bider hovedet af den anden eller sådan noget. Det ser i hvert fald sjovt ud og du har fanget det rigtig godt. Tak for det!

A very longtime ago that we you sawing on TE, you come back with an wonderful bird picture.
I like the wings and the beak of this very great pelicans.
Every year I bring a visit to an Zoo, this gives always very nice pictures.

Godt at se, at du igen har fået lagt et billede ud på TE. Det var efterhånden ved at være længe siden. Men hvad laver de 2 pelekaner egentlig. Det kan være lidt svært at se.
Et fint og klart billede i en given situation.

I can imagine that winter in Denmark can cause weird conditions for pelicans which are clearly more used to warm austral weather... Nevertheless, this indoor scene is interesting and the birds still act their natural way, the adults feeding the youngsters.
I like your choice of a tight squared crop and the global sharpness of the picture.
