Photographer's Note
Kaj (Yesterday) posted photos from a place called “Hjerl hede” and I like to share one (or more) from a similar place on fyn call the “The village of funen”.
All houses on this places was build on fyn about 150 years ago and later rebuild, at this open-air museum. The windmill of this photo of a Dutch type with a 8 sided hut and can be dated back to 1832 where it was build nearly 20 km away from the place where it can be seen now –Mills like this one where used to grind corn for nearly 100 years, where the first electrically driven mills begun to take over.
For 150 years ago was it common to fence in the field in order to prevent free running cattle or sheep to ruin the crops.

Hi Jeppe !
Well, this is just a shot, I could have made, a "happy" sky, nice colours and a (very) good chosen foreground...like "my style" (what is my style...)
Really a wonderful scene of this landscape, but I miss......your "unexpected speciality"

Beautiful shot, Jeppe. You composed it very well with the fence in the bottom third, and the view towards the fine old windmill building. The plants in the foreground right are a nice detail in a photo that is very rich in colors and shows a crisp rendition of detail. Well done.

Nice mill!!! You composed your picture very good with the wheat that stick out on the right side. Good colour combination with the grain in front; it's like the mill is waiting for it to be harvested and then processed inside the mill. The fence is a nice detail.

The image is good and sharp and the colours are good. The idea of the seed heads on the right filling the space is good but would have been more effective from a lower viewpoint so that they occupied more of the sky area.
I also think that the overall balance of the picture is a little 'off'. I would have preferred to see the windmill on the right with space in front of the sails. I think that would have led the eye into the picture more effectively. As it stands, the right hand side of the picture is 'lost'.

Interesting object, I wish you were closer to it and make it bigger because it's somehow lost in the background now.

There are very nice grafic elemenys in the windmill blades and their shadows. I also like the POV from behind the fence. Maybe you could use a shallower DOF, in order to get the foreground plants un focused. Good shot, Jeppe.

Hi Jeppe, lovely picture, could almost be taken in the netherlands as well. I like your low PoV, it goives the mill some extra status. When you look at the wheat, you immediately know again why windmills were neede. Nice one!

Extremely well composed shot. The windmill is emphasized by a deep blue sky as background, a yellow field at its feet and the fence is well taken into account to give this very well balanced picture. Very well done !

This is pure postcard style and that's allright with me as long as it is done so well as it is here.
It is common wisdom that you should have a "foreground" in a photo so I see a lot of photos with a few poor flowers or a couple of "dismembered" branches sticking into the frame from one of the corners, that's not how it should be done. This photo is a lesson on how it should be done, the foreground elements are allowed to have their own presence without taking too much attention, in fact it is perfectly balanced in my view.

C'est une magnifique composition d'un très joli moulin. Les couleurs sont superbes et l'inclusion de la clôture et des brindilles à droite rehausse la photo. Bravo Jeppe.
