Happy New Year to everybody

I’m a rear poster at TE these days as I needed a break, but I do take pictures whenever I spot the combination of motif and light.

Most Danish Dolmens was made about 1000 years before the Pyramid’s (without comparison at all)
Many Dolmens properly been used for house building until for 150 years ago where they was preserved by law. It sound strange – but actually haven’t I noticed this until one day I was looking for a nice autumn landscape. The lake behind was until a few years ago a meadow which was created behind a dam – but in order to “recreate” the old nature was the seawater let in.

very well taken shot... u made hera a very good contrast between the blur effect in the background and the sharpening effect in the front.. it is nice to see the beautiful autumn colours also..the reflection of these colurs on the water is giving a superb dimention in this shot.

Hello Jeppe! This is certainly a very nice place. The autumn colours, the reflection and the dolmen make an interesting composition. The trees are a bit too misty, though, and the sky is burnt. I've done a quick WS to address these issues; I hope you don't mind it.

nice light and fall colours, even if i would have choose a faster exposure.. & well framed,
interesting place... and note... maybe you could find some infos about the menhirs i took at Gammel Lejre, because i don't find some in french or english on the web... ?

A nice capture and an interesting note about the dolmens. I have to agree, though, that Ines' WS is an improvement. Good capture even to start with.

A really wonderful scenery! You combined an intersting man-made object with the stunning beauty of nature here and the result is a great photo. This a bit hazy background works very well here. A great photo!

What a wonderful autumn light, I think this kind of light is my favoritew, it carresses everything it touches. The three stones are the cherry, otherwise it would be a plain photo.

I can imagine that this was an overwhelming experience. The picture can only show a small part of all the expression you got in this trip.

the exposure and focus is spot on with perfect sharpness, vivid colour and details
the rocks on the fg give a great perspective to the whole composition

I like the little bit misty atmosphere above the lake.
Splendid with the autumn colours in the forest, but also the autumn colours as reflection

Det er en vidunderlig sen efterårsstemning, du her har fanget, og kompositionen har du styr på med reflekser i vandet og stenene i foreste, venstre hjørne.

Interesting picture about this Dansih dolmen. The forest with autumn colors gives a very nice background to the scene. I like the way you have excentered the subject and the quite low POV that enables to have the field in the foreground.
