Photographer’s Note
My last post on TE for six months is another winding road shot ;o) So to everybody thank you very much for teaching me so much over the last few months, I hope my pictures from my trip this time will be better than last, if not, I won't blame you guys ;oD
This road is one I used to go everyday on the schoolbus when I was a kid, we called it the rollercoaster, and all us kids would be screaming faster faster when we got to this place, because it has so many bumps (Jorrit, read MOUNTAINS ;o) that when speeding a bit it would tickle in our stomachs.
Much like I'm feeling now, a day before I leave for Copenhagen to have a big goodbye party and fly out at 7.00 in the morning on tuesday.
I'll be back in february, leaving the weather you see in this shot, to come back when Denmark is at it's coldest, hmm...
Ciao amigos!

Amazing picture of this landscape crossed by this road. Your point of view gives a good perspective with these lines going to the horizon. The tones are very warm and suit very well to this scene. Very well done !

Wonderful shot Line, but even more wonderful having shared the last couple of months with you on TE. If you're missing autumn in Denmark, at least you'll be enjoying spring in Equador and some of summer as well before plunging back into the joys of a Danish winter. But you're of tough Scandinavian stock, you will surely thrive with it all. Enjoy your party and have an exciting adventure. I know you will, since you have great spirit and an engaging manner. It would be a delight to run into you again sometime, whether on TE or in San Francisco if you decide to drop by for a visit. Blessings along the way.

Hi Line, well, your last picture for the time being, my last crit, let's try to find some nitpicking things then, so you won't forget me. ;-)
Nice, synmbolic picture, Line. Good summerpic. It's a good company with my sad Portuguese Fado in the CD-player, because I will miss you here, your pictures and you comments, and your messages. I wish you all the best in Ecuador, I'm sure you will find you way there, like Curtis says youe have a great spirit and an engaging manner. Go for it girl, show them some Girl power!
I'll certainly still be here, when you return in February.

We will miss you. Have fun down there nevertheless. And how fitting to post this as your farewell, because this is probably what you will miss most of all - these colours and that landscape.
Mind you, the colours are so warm, I suspect some hanky-panky. But a great shot, and I will have to create a "long and winding road" theme group one of these days. There are so many of them here on TE.
Stay in touch and keep posting when you can.

All the best for your stay in Ecuador - have fun, take care, and see you next year :o)

rich composition, and quite an original picture. the colors are vivid and flow very naturally out of the picture. I think it was a good idea to take the shot in portrait mode.
very well done
