[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
...this is a photo taken at Amaliehaven , one of the youngest parks in Denmark and situated in the heart of Copenhagen . Behind me is Amalienborg castle where The Royal Family lives .
The park was inaugurated on May 10.th 1983. It was designed by the Belgian architect Jean Delogne and is a donation to the Danes from Mc-Kinney Moeller's Fund for public aims.
In the background you see The Opera House , and thanks to the now for winter covered fountain in the foreground you can easily see the Opera House in the background !
About one hundred years ago this was the quai from where a lot of Danes with hopes for a new and better life emigrated to the United States.

Hello Dorte,
What a beautiful autumn day you had a week ago!
Wonderful colours in foliage, the blue sky is most attractive...
And you include a fine piece of modern architecture in this well balanced composition!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hallo from Siegen!
That's another "dorte_s_t" - a modern one! ;-)
This must be a big contrast between the castle on the one hand and this ultra modern opera house on the other side. The wonderful light of the deep sun adds a lot to this scenery. I think it's a good place for a walk ...
Greetings from rainy, stormy and wet Germany! Weather like in your picture I only know from fairy tale ;-)

Hej Dorte.
You obviosly had a beautiful day last weekend during the Copenhagen-trip. I like your composition here, to let us see the opera house over the fountain and some trees instead of a symmetric photo with the opera house in the middle. Colours , light and sharpness are on top.
Take care.

Hej Dorte,
Venlig hilsen,
Lars

Hi Dorte,
Nice composition, I like the way you decentrate the opera to show us the lovely trees of this park.
I wish you a pretty weekend
Guy
