Photographer’s Note
A brief break from the tour of Iceland in favor of a Copenhagen-shot of this rainbow - the brightest one I've ever seen. The fact that the background sky is so dark made it stand out even more.
The 'pot of gold' is in this case a crane. Actually, that is quite appropriate for Copenhagen insofar as real-estate prices have skyrocketed. Copenhagen is now one of the 10 most expensive cities in the world (although this is partly due to the low dollar).

Wow, this rainbow is looking huge!
Or is it just the view? =)
The orange color fits with the rainbow.
Lucky shot

Hi Mikkel,
Great shot. Sharpness is spot on! Some good pp done here! The light is really pleasant. I might have stamped out the left crane, but it's okay. Nice one!

You've turned a beautiful rainbow into a beautiful photograph. I love your composition here, zooming in on the crane. I agree with Antontio about cloning out the other crane.
The dark sky does indeed provide an excellent backdrop. Nice shot.

Hi Mikkel. That is a most well seen composition. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this whether on TE or in real life. I might run it through noise removal to get rid of the shadow noise though. tfs Mikkel!

Beautiful work. I love the patterns and lines in this - and those amazing colors. Its like the rainbow is coming right out from the crane. Very interesting!

The rainbow is spectacular but the picture itself looks very dark. Also, I would have cloned the bit of the crane on the left. We can see at least 4 round spots on the right side of the rainbow, meaning something going on with the lens/filter.

Hi mikkel
Grand jour de chance et belle réalisation pour capter cet arc en ciel.
les couleurs saturées et le positionnement des grues est bien vu.
Bravo !

Really nice rainbow here, Miks. That brightness is amazing indeed. So vivid! And the crane works quite well for perspective and contrast.

AB-SO-****ing-LUTELY BRILLIANT!
You must've been so happy to see this result appear on the screen of your computer. I remember how happy I was with a similar shot of a rainbow in a KLM-aeroplane. So congratulations to you for this accomplishment.
Did you do any postprocessing on this shot?
- I did notice some spots on your photo though, I think you might want to clean your sensor a bit -
