Photographer’s Note

I had made myself a promise not to post anything untill I had a portrait I could share, but since that seems to take I while, I'll pass time with this. Another dramatic scene in the Danish sky. I searched the web for info on the matter, here is a bit of what I found:
Cloud Types
common cloud classifications

Clouds are classified into a system that uses Latin words to describe the appearance of clouds as seen by an observer on the ground.

Latin Root Translation Example
cumulus
stratus
cirrus
nimbus heap
layer
curl of hair
rain fair weather cumulus
altostratus
cirrus
cumulonimbus

They are apparently also classified after how low or high they are in the sky.
It seems the clouds I've been shooting lately are "low level clouds" and "vertically developed clouds" I figured that after comparing them to pictures on the net and reading that those a the rainy ones.

PP, alot of contrst in the sky, brightene up the foreground, worked on levels and sharpened forground by using "unsrap mask" tool.
