On a very warm day. The sun was about to set.
There is something very appealing about the warm glow from a sunset. The play of light is almost hypnotic and it allows one to reflect about, how the day went by or how lucky one are to be alive and witness the beauty of a multifarious nature.

It's strange that you say it's the end of a hot day , the picture has a breath of winter color , if i would have guessed.
