Photographer’s Note
I took this photo while biking on Bornholm. It is somwhere between Nexø and Aakirkeby. I don't know exactly, because at that moment I realized I was completely lost. Trying to find any reference point, I just had not looked at the beautiful landscape. I gave up searching for directions and realized how beautiful the place was. It reminded me of the landscape images by one of my favorite italian photographers: Franco Fontana
I'm absolutely not capable (not even remotely) of such professionality, but the sight reminded me of the landscape photos he makes, images that I like so much.
Call it a kind of tribute to an artist whose images, in a way, taught me to look at landscapes with a completely different eye.
I have posted later another image of this area of Bornholm, this one picturing another Burial Mound at a closer look.

The almost silvery colours of a field just about ripe for harvesting.. It's a beautiful capture. Don't know about the trees right, but the mound on the horizon is in all likelihood a burial mound from the bronze or iron age ;-)

Raffaele - I must say I'm thankful you got lost :)) The simple lines and superb colour of this shot combine to create a powerful effect. The shot seems a bit grainy but the composition more than makes up for it. I imagine FF would be honoured.
