Photographer’s Note

As I promis yesterday, hre is another picture from my trip. The picture is from Agger tongue and the ferry sail to Thyboron.

Someone write to me that I work a lot with the light in my picture, and Yes I do, because I do think the light is 50% of a good picture.

The sun was shining, but it was overcarst, there was that speciel light and very still water then I came there, and that made me say to myself WOOW, I love it a toke a lot of picture, vere eventful.

Je trouve cette photo très belle et évocatrice d'une fin de journée grâce à la luminosité et les tonalités.

Les détails techniques sont intéressants et montrent que le numérique n'est pas complètement automatique, pour moi qui est encore en argentique.

Wow, Kaj, amazing reflection, so clean and colorful, the horizone line is hardlly seen. Sky and clouds are perfect for this peacefull shot.

A stunning scenery, Kaj! Such a perfect combination of some of the best the nature and the man can create. The colors are wonderful. I love this blue-grey-yellow harmony, and its softness. The reflexion is just ideal. Maybe I would crop or clone the undefinable thing on the left.

It continues to amaze how you just present one perfect shot after another, Kaj. Beautiful composition with the pier leading the view towards the ferry from the right. The reflection of the boat is crystal clear, and the way the fluffy clouds are reflected on the water surface is also quite special. Beautiful work, thanks for sharing it.

It is very pretty. Kaj, can you tell us what is your secret for good lighting. Your pictures always always stand out because of the wonderful colors brought about by the lighting. I must say that your pictures are always "picture-perfect".

For this shot,I especially like the formation of the clouds and how you frame them. Also, the composition is very good with those little things around the edge of the frame. Impressive work.

Superb light and sharpness as always Kaj. I like the composition with the rocks in the foreground though I might crop a little more from left. Both the sky and the sea are beautiful and the mood of this shot is of wonderful calm.

You're right about the light and you have done it again, with a little help from your friends (clouds). The clouds and the light make the photo.

You love little boats and now you go for ferries in front of sunsets :o) This is spectacular, the reflection is so clear that you could flip the image around and it would still be the same picture. Good work!

As a sunset fan, I must say that this is one of the best!

Great colours, very good composition and very good balnced picture, it is like the boat controls the clouds.

Extra que dire de plus sur une image qui a recue autant de belle et bonnes critiques.
J'admire et je conserve parmit mes favorites (si vous me le permettez;-))cette composition pleine de douceur et de couleur de part ces couleurs pastelles.

Wow! Another great water scenery from you, Kaj! :-) The mirror effect of the water surface is fantastic and divides the picture in two wonderful parts. It looks like a dream view... A most amazing reflection of an incredible sky in the calm water of the harbour. I must say, Kaj, that your shots must invite a lot of people who don't know Denmark to visit our beautiful country. Those of us who do know it, but live far away, just miss it when we see them. But thanks anyway.

This is almost criminal it is so beautiful. I'm in awe. I don't know whether to give you credit or God... ;-) Of course, you are the one who composed the image, taking advantage of everything you found at the shore that moment, including the rocks in the foreground, the jetty and the dock where the ferry will soon land, not to mention the mirror-like water reflecting clouds and sun. Gorgeous Kai, simply gorgeous.

The light and colors in this photo are awsome! And the way you've managesd to keep the details on the ferry considering the light direction very good.

I'm not so sure about the centered horizon but with so many great details I believe I would't crop it any other way.

Another good one...you appear to have mastered the art of early morning or late evening shots, but the reflections make it all the more impressive!
