Photographer’s Note

The Citroën 2CV (French: deux chevaux, literally "two horses", from the tax horsepower rating) was an economy car produced by the French automaker Citroën from 1948 to 1990. I saw this one last summer in Svaneke, on the island of Bornholm.

About the photo: auto levels, auto colours, a bit more contrast, resized, sharpened and framed.

Hi,
Good shot of a european icon! This one looks in good condition and seems to be waiting patiently. We had a rally of those here a while back - there was hundreds of them, all shapes and variations. The picture is well exposed and has a nice balance of colours. Thanks.

Okay, jij als eerst. ;-) Eigenlijk heb ik je al verteld wat ik ervan vind. :-P Mooi plaatje van deze eend. Leuk dat de straat omhoog loopt en net in een bocht, zodat die huizen op de achtergrond staan.

Hallo Stef,
Wat leuk in beeld gebracht, lekker frontaal, met zelfs het geel nog laten terugkeren in het huis in de achtergrond. Het was nooit mijn auto, maar om ze zo nog weer eens terug te zien is heel leuk.
Prima plaat, weinig op aan te merken.

Hi Stef. It looks somewhat overcast out when you took this but the colors of the car are so bright they still come through loud and clear. I like your composition and the way you included the road and house in the background. Good one Stef.

A nice tribute to this french icon, this one seems to be in pretty good shape and its yellow color flashes against the street environment. I see after taking this good photo you were to tired to think about an equally good title ;-)

Hi Stef!
A 2CV in exactly this color was my first car and I tuned it from 27 to 29 PS.Driving was fun ,not in winter and I like to see4 them on the streets,but now they are very rare in Germany.
A nice and sharp image ,taken from a good POV and I like the repetition of yellow at the house.

Nice picture of this car which becomes more and more rare (and expensive, by the way). This one looks as quite an old model and seems relatively well preserved.
