[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I think this little lady must have been watching TV through a window somewhere two days ago, when the Danish Crown Prince was married. At any rate her bridal bouquet bears a certain ressemblance to the one carried by our new Crown Princess on *her* big day ;-))
The photo was taken this morning, when I went to check on a tree where there's already one nest built by house sparrows. They seem to like this tree because it's covered in ivy several meters up. I did see the parents flying to and fro bringing juicy flies and other bugs for their insatiable youngs, but then I also noticed that apparently a new couple was about to move into an adjoining apartment in the same tree.
Little miss here and her groom-to-be were busy bringing nesting material to the other side of the tree, each load was carted in behind the leaves of the ivy. Shortly after taking this photo, I also witnessed the "consummation of the marriage", but for decency's sake this took place so far back between the leaves and branches, that I couldn't get any good shots of it..
Treatment: Crop, contrast +10, brightness +10, saturation +10, USM and resize.

Very well spotted and captured Bente - and yes there a great similarity between this bouquet and the one from from Fridays royal weeding - great DOF and sharpness - I like this shot very much :-)

Very nice! Sharpness as good as well. Perfect contrast and composition. Excellent!

Compliment very beautiful photograph, small blur on the right emphasized well the bird and the brushwood.
Work of pro.
Live the bride...

Beautiful photo, Bente! Sparrows being quick, you did very well in having your camera ready for that. Great details and colors. Very naturals and attractive environment, and what a chance to have the bird carrying this "bouquet" at the same time. Well observed and catched.

Great shot - colours and composition spot on - well done

Really lovely shot!
You couldn't have "captured" her on a better moment. I like the focus being perfectly set on the head and beak and the lovely "fluffy" background.
Well observed and executed Bente!

Hi Bente, great one. So clear and sharp. Very good DOF, and a great composition. Like it very much!

Cute little bird. Tech stuff is good, though there seems to be some foggy areas right behind the birds neck, probably from the sun, but it makes it appear as if your lens was fogged somehow. That is nit picking, because it is a really nice shot, and a funny note - and useful aswell.
The bird looks quite allert and active, it's a very vibrant shot, thanks for sharing.

Lovely moment and very shrp picture to be a bird on branch...
Great Shot!

SUPERBE !
Le fait que l'oiseau est dans son bec ces brins d'herbes apporte beaucoup à la scène.

Les couleurs et détails sont vraiment très bon !

This is good bird photography. I like the pose of the bird, the leaves in the beak is a nice touch. I also like the limited DOF, the details I can see and the light in the bird's eye. Well done!

Bare endnu et flot billede fra dig Bente. Flotte detaljer af denne lille gråspurv. Superp billede, flot.

SPLENDID PIC.

I will be back on this one to.

Der er ikke noget at pege fingre af, tvætimod, et fremrangende billede på alle områder. Tillykke med det, måtte gerne være mit:-))
