Photographer’s Note

In the waters just outside Copenhagen a string of islands were build in the 17th century, the largest of the them the initially separate city Christianshavn and to the north of the the naval base called Holmen.
The navy left a large part of Holmen some ten years ago and much has been done to develop this almost rural area close to the center as an attractive part of the city. Unfortunately expensive apartments and officespaces doesn't do much for the local neighbourhood. At least the schools of architecture, music and theatre that were moved there provides some life along with small and strange cafe-projects in the yet undeveloped corners.
From her style of clothing and bicycle my guess is that this girl is probably a student of architecture.
