Photographer’s Note

Kayaking isn't the only sport to be observed on the Copenhagen waters. For calmer and more meditative trips a rowing boat like this one is better.
I took this one only a few minutes after the kayak photo, but the mood is very different, so I tried to do a much smoother, calmer postprocessing this time.

Nice shot but I feel the blown highlights have a little to much to say, in an otherwise very calm picture

Escaping from the dark...
It's softer, but still the contrasts are hard. It's not a mainstream kind of photo, that's for sure ;)
Some of the elements here are very nice (water in front and the people), but all the elements doesn't really match eachother I think. I guess it could work better if you maybe zoomed in a little, and caught some kind of a graphic image.

yes, a bit different from the previous one. the mood you built in this one is different in the water, in the sunlight and in the silhouettes. very nice.
torben, are there ducks what i see in the background? are you becoming romantic or it´s just a sign of spring?

After the day I had I welcome this tranquility. I like the light because it transmits to me the warmth you feel when you'r in the middle of a lake and the su beats down. The water and the smoothness is peaceful, and contrasts well with the texture on the other side of the boat.

I like this shot - The trail from the boat breaks the watersurface very well and boat in the sun reflection works very well - Good work Torben

You really developed your style, Torben A great composition. I like very much the use of the sunlight and the sulight's reflection on the still water surface. The small duck, the boat, the small waves. Great job, Torben.
