Photographer’s Note

The upper part of the building is visible in this photo, but here we are at the gound levels looking at the trees that are supposed to complement the crisp and hard geometric lines with lush organic greenery - Well I guess the effect will be there some day.
In the meantime, just enjoy the smell of new town.

You make "cool" picture Torben. I really like that. So difrent from my own photos. For me, the colours, or should i say lack of colours, make the shot. The fact that the colour of the trees and the wall blend so well together makes the shot very difrent. In turn it also forces the eye to find the vertical and horizontal lines and make them work together. In a perfect world, the white pole had been placed some place else but we can't have it all.

very beautiful..I like graphic pictures a lot and this is very good for me with lots of eye twisting parallels..almost bw (black, grey and purple) is what I like a lot too and it comes out very good here...thanks for the note(s) about Orestad too...

Nice minimalistic shot, Torben. Only a few colours, two trees and a array of neatly arranged iron bars to tell the this picture's story. Well seen.

Very nice, I like that it is a colour photo, but it is almost lacking in colour. I like the two leafless trees too.

Very well spotted Torben - Funny I actually spotted a similar shot today (now I'm only waiting for the perfect light) and who knows - perhaps I post my first B&W photo.

I like your mix of straight horizontal lines and the vertical lines from the tree.

colors - or lack of colors - were a wise choice.
let´s see what happens to the trees 5 years from now.

The contrast between the lines of the technical steel wall and the organic lines of the tiny little trees are stron here Torben. Somehoe it twists my mind into thinking that the trees are the unnatural things here.
