Waiting for the Metro
More circles and endless repetition in cooperation with Lars.
The circles for my theme of circles and spheres.
The endless repetition in addition to Lars recent pictures of the house with the blue eyes and the house with the red eyelashes.
Endless repetitions in Copenhagen.
This round marks for blind voyagers can be found in the Nørreport Metrostation – Copenhagen. You find the reflection into the doors of the entrance to the train, which is closed if there is no train.
In the WS you can see a overview of this modern (2002) subway station.
Subway
Down between the walls of shadow
Where the iron laws insist,
The hunger voices mock.
The worn wayfaring men
With the hunched and humble shoulders,
Throw their laughter into toil.

Hej Rob,
Groeten,
Lars

Hi Rob!
I don't know how you see them! Wonderful graphic effects with the dots and lines. I would never have thought of putting a foot there to add a human element!!
Bravo!
Best wishes

Excellent !

Hi Rob, A good observation to the abstract patterns on the floor at the subway station. It is fun to see the shinning repetitive circles along with your foot. A well seen and a fun picture.

Bonsoir Rob,

I'm loving this theme of yours and the cooperation with Lars.
Excellent composition of this abstract image and good inclusion of the foot to break the pattern and capture our attention. You allways have to get a reflection, he,he,he.
I love the originality of your work.
Um abraço amigo,

Goedenmorgen Rob,
Prettig weekend Rob!

Excellent graphic shot. I didn't realise the top was a reflection until reading your note, although I should have known. :)
What happened to the promised WS. I was going to look at it and it was gone.

Hi Rob,
Very modernistic. The half shoe extended forward is the perfect touch and puts the whole scene is perspective. You have really captured the symmetry and repetition here in this well framed and superbly cropped shot. The lighting is also effective. A very fine shot.

Goed weekend,

Well spotted graphic detail, Rob!
Judging by this photo and the one in the WS, there's a certain colour tint (can't find a proper word) in the whole underground.
Any explanation for that?
I mean, here we have a combination of silver and green, and the WS shows slight magenta colouring...
Interesting,
Robi

Hello Rob, this is an interesting geometrical pattern and almost abstract in its simplicity. It's just the foot that brings us back to reality with the human element.

A shy shoe hesitating before entering in the world of spheres. The reflexion in the glass panel is excellent. But I thought we were not to look at our feet, at least this is what my parents told me...
All the best,

Hi Rob
Nice abstract piece. I like the inclusion of the foot/shoe as well, this gives it a sense of scale and functionality. Good technical quality and nice light control. The details are great. TFS

Hello Rob
your gallery is an ode to graphism and creativity. This picture really proves it. Being able to turn something as usual as taking the metro into a minimalist and geometric image with a human touch into it denotes the quality of your work. Congratualtions
Emmanuel
