Parus caeruleus. 10-12 cm and a weight of just 11 gram. Found in an old Japanese cherry tree yesterday morning in bright sunlight.
Treatment: Crop, Contrast +10, saturation +10, USM and resize.

Very nice bird shot. One think butter me a little is the second branch. Our eye is always spot on the bird eye, dont go out of the picture. Very good

Wow - Congratulation Bente - You really got this little "feather ball" right. I like the reflections in he's eye and the details of the feathers. Great DOF, sharpness and colours.
Too bad with the stick - and I agree with the workshop (except the tail has become too "straight")
Good work anyway.

Good shot the head and chest are perfect even down to a natural high-light in the eye.where it suffers is under the tail its looks a little under exposed a place to use a bit of infil flash to allow that bit to be seen.
the twigs abit of a bummer but it is possible to clone out

What a beautifull picture of a beautifull bird. The angle is perfect in my opinion. The sharpness is perfect and the colors of the bird and the blue sky are so well done. Great job.
