Photographer’s Note
The sign says 'Meeting Hall' in Danish. The meeting in question is Youth Red Cross annual 'grand meeting' in Denmark. Here the members vote on various issues.
A good thing about having learned the basics of photography is that it gives me an opportunity to help out people and/or organisations trying to do some good.
However, this is a new style for me. In the past I have mainly been shooting landscape and travel pics. But his sort of photo journalism is something I'd like to pursue further.
I find it quite hard to do photo-journalism in colors rather than in 'traditional' BW. But on this occassion I thought the green pillar was a real attraction. So much that I made the sign the 'main motive' although I tried to get a DOF which would preserve some of the detail in the background.
PS: I wish I could have flipped the canvas. But that would have made the sign illegible - even to the Danes...

Mikkel your comments lay the foundation for this photo nicely. Very creative capture here. You kept the pole off center which avoids splitting the photo in half. Good work!
