At Ørestad Station

Something completely different today: Last Tuesday I brought a friend of mine to Copenhagen Airport Kastrup. We took the Metro to Ørestad Station, where we changed to the normal train to the Airport. When we were waiting for our train, I saw the message on the information screen that there would come a passing train first. So I put my camera on a suitcase and waited for the train, that I captured with a shutter speed of 3 seconds.
Actually I was surprised there came a passing train, normally all the trains stop at Ørestad, maybe this was only an empty one.

The train services that pass Ørestad are the trains between Helsingør and Malmö Central (in Sweden), between Copenhagen Central Station and other Swedish cities like Göteborg, Kalmar and Stockholm and between Kastrup Airport and cities in Jutland, like Århus and Ålborg.

Ørestad is a part of Copenhagen on the island of Amager. It is in full development at the moment since the start of the construction of the Øresundsbridge between Denmark and Sweden, to give the area a new impulse.
Next to the station is the office of the company Ferring situated, that can be seen on one of my other pictures.

I hope you like this little experiment with this shutter speed and a passing train. :-)
