Photographer’s Note

This beautiful renaissance castle built around 1420, was made world famous by Shakespeare in his drama about prince Hamlet.It is situated opposite the swedish town of Helsingborg and guards the entrance to the "Öresund", one of the worlds busiest sea straits and the main entrance to the Baltic Sea.
The Kronborg Castle has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The photo was taken on one of the car-ferries, that goes between Helsingborg and Helsinore every 20 minutes.
