Photographer’s Note
Normally a visit to a church would be a peaceful experience, but in Copenhagen could a visit to The Church of our Saviour give a ticklish in the stomach if you decided to visit the tower (and if your not used to heights). The special about this church is the staircase placed at the outside of the tower, which lead to the "globe" at the top.
But don't pick a stormy day for your visit - be course the tower will be closed then.
Take also a look at my workshop to see the tower from the street.
The picture have been given normal settings and turned 180 deg - think it worked better that way. The un-turned photo can be seen here

Vertigo !!
Well done, Jeppe. The sheer height by itself would already be amazing, but you are really emphasizing the effect of it by the angle in which you're showing the yellow and white buildings on the street. A textbook example of simple idea - maximum impact. Good job!

This is very impressive and really well done. You've got the vertigo feeling well expressed, and it seems the person just under you starts to feel bad! Very good and well framed shot! (thanks for the ws...very explicit like that)

Tjee, Jeppe wat do you do man, I have fear of heights.
Great photo, what a depth. Whatever, it's a very good composition, with good colours, and a great of fear.
Good job.

Det er jo sjældent positivt at et billede giver kvalme, men her er det. At du har forhøjet kvalmefaktoren ved at vende billedet på hovedet er godt set.

Vertigo attacks me!
I lost the sense of balance. it is your artifice -- a small car and a yellow building emphasize the height of the place more They are wonderful composition and your idea.

Wow, you used a very strange angle wvhich emphasize the feeling of vertigo. I like also the yellow building and it's nice diagonal angle. Very well done, Jeppe.

You certainly managed to show us the feeling of height, and that is not easy on a flat surface. Well done, Jeppe (Undskyld, Jeppe, det aer mange her!)
I added it to my "fence and barrier" theme as the railing plays an important role for your friend below.

Image renversante et vertigineuse.
Fallait penser a le faire ça et c'est bien réussi elle me fait avoir le vertige cette photo et si c'était l'idée du départ c'est fort bien réussi
Bravo Jeppe

I don't normally like inverted images as to me they generally look very artificial. I agree though with what you have done here. It greatly increases the sense of looking down from a great height and the feeling of vertigo.

Much more efective as the not-turned one, it's against the gravity-feeling we all have in us.
The diagonals of the streets accentuate that, if they were at 45° probably even more.
Well done, Jeppe.

I like the way you put the photo. It makes us so dizzy and it gives us an new angle viewing the buildings and the street. Thanks

Great composition Jeppe. Even a Norwegian get's dizzy looking down here.
There are so many times that one can not "reproduce" the height feeling - but in this case you did it excellent. Turning the pic. 180 deg. seems also to be a perfect move. Bravo.

Impressionnant point de vue! Cette photo me donne vraiment le vertige! J'aime la composition d'un point de vue strictement graphique. Les formes linéaires des batîments en contradiction avec cet escalier circulaire au haut de l'image! Bien vue!

Jeppe – never ever do this again when I am sitting with a good glass of wine. I am getting sick of standing on a folded Sunday newspaper.
It is a very good shot and the person on the staircase and the rotate makes it even stronger.

Nice view! I think this picture (the rotated one) gives you a much better feeling of the height as it looks if you are almost falling. I haven't been to the tower yet but I will try to get up there on my next visit, thanks for the tip!

I agree with most of the people. The first thing that strikes when you see the picture is vertigo. The sheer height of it.
I am glad you decided to rotate it 180 degrees. It has a much better feel to it.

Hvad kan man sige der ikke allerede er sagt? Intet. Men hold da kaeft hvor jeg skal til at lege med at proeve at vende mine "lodrette" billeder 180 grader nu. Tak for ideen. Og godt nytaar til Danmark fra Luxembourg.

I have really the vertigo and I can tell you, it's not easy, I have my own plan and I am climbing distillation towers once and a while. The deep of field is marvellous, and thank you to have me look at it.

This is a bit scary, great shot from here, who would of thought of taking a picture from here. Your angling is dazzling and it certainly makes me dizzy. Well done. Maybe a little sharpening would do the trick.

Sailing in the past, I have found this photo and I have understood the difference between a good photographer and an (artistic) genius. The scene remembers me Hitchcock: you have the same eye to catch togheter the drama and the humour.

Wow, it is not for weak hearts, this is a great idea, it looks like you took the photo when you were flying above, great idea and excellent picture.
It made me dizzy in the first look . . . :-)

I know that view! Great shot of VOR Frelser's Kirke, I love the giddying angle - you must have leaned perilously far over the railings!
