Photographer’s Note
The man is poking at ice blocks to feel whether they are stranded or free floating. Looking for a stable one to attach his boat. Most blocks did move freely and fast with the current. Finally he just threw an anchor.
The scene is from Sermilik Fjord on the east coast of greenland.
