Photographer’s Note
Very south of the island of Fyn lies the city of Fåborg. This place is in front of another island, Bjornø (*), so the piece of land we see back there is that island. It is for sure that the waters belong to the Baltic Sea.
We, Jeppe and I, were there just before sunset, so he suggested we could make a stop and shoot some pictures on the shore. We aproached the water in a place that seemed to be a private property (but the owner let us do the pictures) and very nicely located to do photography. It was not late, though in late Autum the sunset here is early, like at 1600.
It wasn't exactly this blue as this picture shows, but my film rendered it so, and I made no corrections because I wanted my film to do just that: get the piture more saturated.
It seems to be an old pier that nobody has repaired so far, but a few meters away was another one that was in service and in far better conditions.
(*) The exact location of this place and the name of the island were given by Jeppe, and it is now for sure that the place is the place.

The blue and cold dominancy goes very well with the subject.
You have done well in perspective and constrasts for this graphical and artistic work.
I like it

C'est... bleu !
J'aime assez même si le ciel est bruité et que j'aurais préféré un cadrage plus alongé vertivcalement.

A fine and special moment you captured here - And yes this surely blue but in fact got the sky very blue half an hour later when we visit this place in the old town gate of Fåborg (I have to correct you - the Island in the background
properly "Bjørnø" - "Bear-Island")
I remember we was standing close to a shelter of an fishermen, and a moment after came he over the street to check the "intruders" ;-)
I believe you got some swans as well close to this bridge

This is nice, Jurgen, very graphic and perfectly composed. Monochrome works well here too. The only small flaw is lack of sharpness. It looks like you tried to sharpen it, and this created slight haloes around the posts. But this is not the type of shot that requires absolute sharpness, I think, so I like it very well. Regards, Ken.
