Photographer’s Note

Like I said before, I also would like to learn some different genres and styles, so here is again something else. I hope I don't scare you too much now.

This is the head of a Danish skelleton from around 1000 after Christ. It is found in the underground of the centre of Aalborg (the 4th biggest city of Denmark), where there used to be a monestry til the 16th century. The name of the monestry is Gråbrødrekloster, "Grey brothers monestry".

The head is probably a male of around 30 which died of a violence attack (that is what the sign of the museum said), he got something in his right eye, something very heavy, because the hole around they eye is much bigger than it should be.

The Gråbrødrekloster-museum is 3 meters under the ground in one of the shoppingstreets of Aalborg. You have the take the elevator and you have to pay 20 crowns to get in, than the lift will open and max. 750 kilo of people can visit the museum. Quite an original way of entering a museum.

For more info look on the homepage of the museum.

The photo is take through the glass without flash and with very poor light, so it is not so very sharp.
