Photographer’s Note

Nyhavn is a wide but quite short street located in the city of Copenhagen, Denmark. Its two sides divided by a slender canal. The canalside is quite picturesque, even so, with yachts moored on the water and well preserved eighteenth-centry houses lining the street, three of which (no.18,20,67)were lived in at various times by Hans Christian Andersen-a Danish author and poet famous for his fairy tales. This is perhaps the city's most attractive area, with an astounding variety of restaurants crammed into a single line of brightly painted town houses running alongside the canal that visually connects the huge square of Kongens Nytorv to the city's ferry port.

I really like this place since all the houses are so colourful... It's been raining on the day when I took this picture. It'd be so nice if you can get a clear blue sky with the colurful houses! ^_^
