Photographer’s Note

A typical Faroese house with grass covering the roof. The photo was taken in Husavik village in the south of Sandoy island during one of my bike-rides round the Faroes.

This is a beautiful shot you present here ! This house is reall nice and nicely exposed. I like both colors, light and textures, and the general composition and the nice perspective enhanced by the crop choice. The only problem for me is the dark upper right corner (is this a part of your finger that were in front of the camera during the shot ?), but it does not matter a lot !

J'aime beaucoup ces maisons fort typiques avec cette véritable prairie sur le toit. Elles doivent être intimes et accueillantes.
Magnifiques couleurs et très bonnes exposition et mise-au-point.

hi,
I like the bright colours of the house and the composition. The only thing that isn't that great is the sky- white on the left and changing into blue on the right side... is the dark thing in the right upper corner your finger or is it the fault of the filter?
