Queuing for the Fish Photo

Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken on the small island of Mykines, where we got stuck because of the weather. But it was worth it- the puffins were exactly everywhere around us.

These ones are standing in such a line that I'm joking they're queuing for the fish. The last one is not shy- he's only looking back to check whether his friend
(who was standing with him in the line, but had to leave the queue for a moment) is coming back. That's how I explain it at least ;D.

Très mignons ces macareux moines, j'en ai vu en vrai et c'est minuscule comme oiseau. Mais ils ont un fort joli bec qui les rend majestueux malgré leur très petite taille.
En tout cas, ce cliché est très sympathique pour sa situation, et pour les couleurs.

Amusing image. It is a great pity that the top right puffin was camera shy - otherwise it would have been an outstanding photo.

Hi Ewa,
This is a great shot.
I especially like the way that the puffins are displayed in the composition : a group of 3 on the same line.
The colors are vivid and the black of the puffins is contrasting with the green grass.
