Late sunrise Photo

Photographer’s Note

The sunset came late this morning - there was heavy clouds in the east and it was nearly 10am before the sun gave as its first golden colours - I happend to pass by the place where I shot the blue swans and spotted the golden reflections in the frozen puddle and on the road - an alternative shot here.

I tryed some different crops - but ended up posting the full image.

The lighting in this shot is just fantastic, Jeppe. Even thought there is snow, it looks like a very warm scene. The positioning of the swans is excellent. Well captured. "On Golden Pond" might have been another title for this shot.

Mood from the colors and I find this composition is very well done showing a lot of the life there and from the place.

Hi Jeppe! I'm learning about your place more! This simple photo has wonderful lighting and subjects. The swans in the bright waters and the car with the sunlight reflecting off it and off the road are impressive! Great shot! rgds.

At first I wanted to crop the upper past, but when I kooked better I saw you did it right. The contrast between the upper and the lower side in colour, but also in scene makes this picture unique.

Hi Jeppe, It is difficult to take a shot facing the sun light. You have done it very well in this picture. The swans show up very nice against the bright golden reflection in the pond. The position of the swan is better in this picture. To me, I like the one in your WS better without the distraction of the car. Nice shots, both of them.

A lovely moment captured here, Jeppe. The special light with the reflections on the snowy road really enhances the feeling of a cold winter day, and the swans crossing the road certainly add a special, almost poetic, element. Very nice, and it really looks good without needing any crop I think.

Amazing sunset light in the pond. This image is very clever xomposition, using the light for the atmosphere and the swand for the graphic element. I also like the car with the red backlights and that beautiful snowie roof. Great shot, Jeppe.

The pond is like gold here, well seen and captured. The swans perfect the composition which I think would have been just good had you cropped just above the swans, but is made pretty interesting by the inclusion of surroundings.

Curious light Jeppe in this view with several levels sharp great DOF and indeed the light is even more intens in the WS.

Wow! Really great light here. This gives a normal scenery a totally different, but dreamy look. The composition is good, I don't think neither you should crop it.

Great shot, but I think I prefer the workshop. I think whats best about this photo is all the interesting elements in the frame: trees, tracks, water, birds, light, texture.
