Photographer's Note

The woods I took my winter walk in Denmark in was a few square kilometers of marshes with the water tables in level with the ground. To make it accessible gravel paths had been laid out like this one. The surface was frozen but when being passed by running people I could feel the ground swaying under my feet.

This guy did not make so much waves though. He passed me on his joggin tour but had problems getting away from me as I was walking almost the same speed. He was very old and very thin. When he passed me we looked at each other and the color of his face was what is known as "plum" like the shoulder decoration of his track suit. That inspired me to the title, some guys just don´t know when to stop and enjoy the scenery instead.
