Photographer’s Note

Saksun is a little village (34 people lives there)on SW Streymoy,the biggest of 17 Faroe Islands. This church was originally placed in Tjornuvik. In 1858 it was disassembled, carried over the
mountains and reassembled in Saksun. In my opinion this is the most beautiful place on this islands.

I like the colors very contrasted green/white/grey and the composition by crosses, stones wall, house and water fall. Nice job.

very nicely composed. great contrast between white and green. beautiful landscape. good title also, the black frame is maybe a bit too strong for me though. tfs.

This is my kind of a landscape. Great colors and composition. Your photograph perfectly expresses the symbiosis of human and nature in these Nordic places. I like the combination of the house with grass on the roof and waterfall placed behind it. L.

You are right.. I have seen this church while staying a full summer on those beautiful islands.. I really enjoyed it a lot.

wrzucilem dzisiaj zdjecie tego wlasnie kosciolka w Saksun. Dla mnie to rowniez nie wiem czy najpiekniejsze, ale na pewno jedno z najpiekniejszych miejsc na Wyspach Owczych, a same wyspy to moim zdaniem jedno z najpiekniejszych miejsc na
Ziemi.
