Cliff Of Moen Photo

Photographer’s Note

These cliffs are what have made Moen famous around the world - or at least in Denmark...
They are more than 100 metres above sea level, and it's quite a walk down the thousands of stairs from the wood area above.

This was a windy, cloudy day with a lot of sunshine, for which reason I used a polarization filter to enhance the contrast.

Wow! Breathtaking shot, with that broad swooping pebble beach, and the brilliant light on the water, plus the impressive sky. The ripples in the water tell us about the breeze. It's a picture with a feeling of a huge open space. I can imagine the incredible walk down the many stairs to the beach. Superb seascape!

You've made an excellent image of this lovely spot.

What's great?
The partitioning of the frame into threes: land, sea, and sky.
The visual interest in each of each element, especially with regard to color and texture.
The sharp dividing lines between the three zones with interesting shapes.

Color renderings are very interesting (if not too good to be true). Clarity and sharpness are excellent, too.
