This is a typical modern Danish farmhouse. The barn and cowshed are way off to the right outside the picture. This is where my nephew and his wife live and tend to 500 milkcows and a lot of land. And as everywhere in Denmark it is not far from the sea (the farthest you can get is 50 km), therefore the seagull flying over. It is also a typical windblown grey Scandinavian summer day.

Hvor er de 500 køer ? I tårnet ? Om det er et typisk dansk landbrug vil jeg ikke holde helt med dig i :-)

Interesting view here. The house and parking area seem so odd right there in the middle of all this green. It is made even more interesting with the wind turbines in the background. Even with their distance they seem gigantic on the scene and give this a sort of futuristic feel. One of a green and environmentally friendly world of well manicured land. Perhaps it could be cropped a bit at top and bottom and use some levels or curves adjustments and sharpening. It certainly is a nice area they live in there.
I am also curious. Do the farmers get any sort of compensation for the turbines on their property or is it on public land? I learned here the companies pay up to 2000 dollars per year to the farmers who own the land they use. This way it creates clean power and helps the farmer.

Such a calm place with peacefull colors,I see a lot of shots from danmark that most of them have a calm atmospher, now I like to know if the danish people have the same adjective?

Well - This would I call the "castle" of a "newrich" farmer. Its rather common nowadays that farmers owns several farms and perhaps lives in a separate house like this.
Nice view Per - but its not typically on Fyn - even I know a place with 500 milkcows (must try to get a shot some day) - May be too much sky in the top but never mind.

Per, it construction style of this farm also occurs in Flanders, I find this construction very nice, not modern but rural, the two mills and the seagull against the overcast sky, give a wonderful image of Denmark. Well seen!

Great shot and very instructive. As far as I know this kind of big windmills are quite noisy
and they are very close to the house. Is this

Very nice Per! I like this perspective...
That bird between two screws it a fine detail!
Well done and seen.

A straightforward shot, Per, in which the farm is seen framed by the two wind turbines (with the bird a nice detail in-between). The color pallette is very appealing, and the slightly gloomy weather adds a good touch. The soft neatimaged look is fine on the sky, but it appears you lost a little definition in the grassland. Nice and pleasant total, anyway, well done.

The very beautiful, peaceful landscape of Danish farmland. Very interesting architecture of farmhouse. Good composition and colors.

Nice. And now I know why lego is from Denmark. The houses and the cars are almost lego-toys.
