The pleasant sea, in most cases it can be awful weather that can sink any ship it cought unprepared.
This journey over Skagerak was the complete opposite.
Not a wave to be felt...
I did this crossing in 1997, back then we had 10 meter waves and strong gale, needless to say I was lying down a lot!
Photo was taken aboard the M/F Atlantic Traveller owned by the Fjordline company.
It was taken just about 2 hours before reaching the port of Hanstholm.
This was one of my first tries with adjusting the ISO setting, and simply put: "I think it worked!"
ISO is 800 to bring out more colour.

Yes this picture is very relaxing. It must be superb to sit and enjoy the sunset from a big boat. You did a very good job with the PoV and light setting for this frame. A very nice picture :-)

Hei gjenn Oddi,
Nice and mood filled photo. I really like the colors and the composition. The people on deck give the image some sence of scale. Very nice work. TFS.

Hi Odd Jarle, there is nothing worse than feeling sea sick on a boat!! But on a still day it is wonderful. I love your setting sun, the colours and details look great. Well done,

I envy your sunsets, OJ... you seem to have always cloud-clear skies and your sunset shots are wonderful.
This one adds many interesting elements. The chimmeny at right, with the Sun reflections, is great. And so the passengers, they add perspective for sizes.

The composition works very well here Odd Jarle. The wee bit off centered sun made the final touch. The colors are beautiful and the atmosphere is great! Fine silhuettes as well! Good Job
