Photographer’s Note
Here is a picture of the Vejle Creek Valley located on the East coast of Jutland. Denmark is a rather flat country, but a friend of mine recommended I see this valley, because it wasn't flat. I'm happy to say that she was right, there are beautiful hills in this area (all of you from mountainous countries, don't laugh).
It is a green valley filled with hiking trails. It was the home of one of the most densely populated areas of Denmark, 3000 year ago, due to the rich valley and plentiful resources. Later, Harold Blue tooth and his father Gorm founded the first Danish capital not far from here, about 1000 year ago, and created a lot of infrastructure in this valley. Now it is a quiet, agricultural area of Denmark and well worth a visit.
