Photographer’s Note
I really like Danish coloured houses, so here we go again.
This is a street in Aabenraa, a small city in the south of Denmark, 25 kilometres from the German boarder. These houses are all yellow, but the all have different shapes/different roofs. I especially like the the second house on the left with the steep, long roof.
I cropped a part of the bottum, sharpened the picture a bit and increased the contrasts somewhat.

Nice composition. I've never been in Aabenraa, so it's nice to see this town too. As you say, the shape of the roofs is quite special. Well done!

If you achieved travelling til Åbenrå, you'd visit Sønderborg as well (just some more 20 km to the south east), lovely place on earth :-). Well managed, capturing this very special kind of yellow, Stef. Runs fine with the red roofs. And hey, next time, gimme a call, it's only a one and a half hours drive from Kiel :))

Indeen, those houses are all different but have the same style. I like very much your composition from this point of view and the colors. Well seen!

Very nice photo Stef, lovely house architecture and nice perspective. I like the composition the eye folowing thw street turning to right and then further on into the alley. The light is pleasant and the red-yellow colour combination is appealing. Well done!

John.

Woow unique! I find this a very interesting picture in many ways! Colourwise, and I love the position of the houses and the wonderful perspective. What I also find interesting is the warm and deep colours of the houses and street set against the cool light 'purply' icy blue sky... A well deserved :D

Claude
