Photographer’s Note
This year Denmark are celebrating the 200 years anniversary for the birth of their famous and beloved fairy-talewriter H.C. Andersen. I came across a sand-sculpturefestival at the west-coast, where the theme was the fairy-tales of Andersen. I don't know what the title of this fairy-tale is in English, but in danish - and in norwegian - we know it as Tommelise.
But look closely. Look through the circle in the sculpture. There you will se the profile of another sculpture, and the head of H.C. Andersen himself. All made out in sand. It is quite fantastic.

Hej Ivar
The English title is "Little Tiny" or "Thumbelina" and most of the tales can be found here in english.
A fine catch and a place I will consider visiting soon - good idea to HC in the middle - thanks for one more for the themes as well.
