i was going to put it in aarhus county but as wrote in wikipedia:
"Until January 1, 2007 Mariager municipality was a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Aarhus County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central (...)
Mariager municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). Part of it was merged with existing Arden, Hadsund, and Hobro municipalities to form the new Mariagerfjord municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 769 km² and a total population of 43,049 (2005) belonging to Region Nordjylland ("North Jutland Region")..."

The charged sky adds to the mood of this fine composition and makes for a good contrast with the painted walls of the houses. Excellent perspective with some pleasing animation. Very good colours and clarity.

Une belle lumière sous ce ciel chargé qui met bien valeur ces couleurs superbes sur le maison. Des textures, de la lumière, des couleurs de quoi faire une belle photo.

The sunlight was indeed fortunate and works well with the bright colored building and the dark gray sky behind, I don't mind the people, they seem blond enough to be locals, but maybe the half included man in the very right side can be cropped out.

But then again half timbered together with half man sounds interesting.

Le jaune ocre de ce mur et ces fenêtres blanches claquent bien sur le gris des pavés et le ciel.La lumière latérale a bien joué son rôle bien évidemment avec la complicité du photographe.J'allais oublier,les personnages apportent un plus indéniable à la composition par leur bon cadrage.

Hi Jonathan,

I like the shadow-light pattern on the left size of the frame. The diagonal composition werks and the people passing add dinamism to the scene. It would be better without the last guy, but still...
