Photographer’s Note
Rudbjerg lighthouse stood once by the sea, serving mariners in hour of need.Generations lived there until sand began to build up between the ligthouse and the sea.The sand grew higher and higher until the lantern was obscured by it and the light could not be seen. The light was removed and today the station is still fighting back the sand. How long can it last...sad but true.

Very interesting story Ken, and a ver nice picture too.
The colours are magnificant and at first I beleived that the green background was the sea. Nice and sharp.

Splendid composition and colors. Interesting notes. The people give us the idea of proportions.

Great colours and contrast. The lighthouse is perfectly places with its red cap against the blue sky. The line of people lead the eye across the picture. Good shot.

Oh, I saw this picture before, but than it was placed in "Denmark east", I see you corrected it.
Really lovely wide view from a great pov. Nice colours and light, but maybe a little bit to dark. Anyway: great shot!

Yes, this is a really nice photo
and sad story.
I like the colors of photo, and line and direction that was produced by people coming to and from the lighthouse.
