Photographer’s Note
Rabjerg Mile is near Skagen, north of Jylland. I walked around and I never did it before where the sand was frozen. The hills, 40 m high, are shifting dunes ( the largest expanse in Danmark ), from where you have wonderful views over the Kattegat sea. I have experienced it during winter time. Easy to walk during this period, although the temperature, together with wind, was extremely cold.
I arrived on time to watch an unique sunset; no people; solitude; fantastic views. My friend just appears on top of one hill. For a mediterranean inhabitant, like me, this was an unique and unforgettable experience. The beaatiful town of Skagen is just 16 kms far away from here.

Hi Roser,
so you have survived the cold! Nice to see you here with your capture of Raabjerg Mile. Without the beach grass this could have been an impression from Sahara. Your friend is a very nice benchmark. I like how the sun is slowly hiding in the background but the foreground is just a little bit too dark for my taste. The colors are very typical for our region at the moment. A very nice shot and I am sure this is really a great memory for you. TFS!
Warm regards
Harriet
