To day I am presenting a colourful photo , since we still have no snow , but only grey sky and rain .
This is actually a church - certainly not the most beautiful , but this church is part of a manor house in Jutland very close to the roaring North Sea .
Situated on a hilltop just 5 kilometres east of the idyllic village of Loekken , Borglum cloister can be seen widely .
The cloister was an episcopal residence for 400 years . From there the bishop's men could keep an eye on wrecks and wreckage along the coast which made up a considerable source of revenue , and the story goes that there were no survivors once the bishop's men had done their job !

Lovely shot of the cloister. The photo makes me longing for springtime! The fresh green colours as well as the flowers in front look wonderful. The composition is also really good. Nice work, thanks for sharing!

Hi Dorte! I love the flowers in this one, and the light and shade on the walls of the cloister. The building looks a little slanted to the right to me, or is this how it really looks? Anyway, the trees are also very clear. The framing effect of the trees is very effective. A lovely sprintime shot.
PS thank you for the email! Very much appreciated.
