walkin' in Aalborg Photo

Photographer’s Note

il y a très peu de photos d'Aalborg sur TE...
voici ma modeste contribution avec cette rue ombragée et ces teintes particulières à cause de l'illumination de l'église (à gauche) par le soleil sur les briques...
j'ai trouvé l'homme bien assorti avec la façade à côté de lui...
au début j'avais éclairci plus la photo, puis je me suis ravisé en laissant ce fort contraste

there are very few photographs of Aalborg on TE...
here my modest contribution with this shaded street and these particular colours because of the illumination of the church (on the left) by the sun on bricks...
I found the man matched well with the frontage beside him...
first i add brightness but finaly back on original to keep the quite strong contrast

I like your pov very much; it leads the eye from darker parts of the street to the lighter parts. Very nice compo and great shrapness. Also the man towards the end of the street gives a special note to this shot.

Très belle rue bien colorée, ces maaison avec leur différentes façades sont superbe, le cadrage est très recherche avec l'anagle de la rue, et bien vu la maison en plein soliel en fond, superbe.

Hej Jonathan,
Very nice to see Aalborg through your camera. I've been there for about three years ago, but my photos are unfortunately not very successful. This one is though! I love to see these small houses with very nice colours and some of them with flowers around the windows. The light management is good too and I like the inclusion of the person. Well captured!

Cette rue a un charme certain. Plus éclairée ? je ne pense pas que ce soit nécessaire. Un seul passant suffit à apporter vie à cette rue aux belles façades contrastées.

The illumination on the walls of the small houses is marvelous! I also like the emptiness of this winding street, what the lonely man makes stronger.

Jonathan, tu as bien fait de laisser dans l'ombre une partie de la photo cela donne une atmosphère irréelle. Les façades de droite éclairées par la réflexion de la lumière sur l'église font beaucoup pour le charme de la photo.

Excellent photograph! The leading lines, the rich colors with quality light and the animated subject (man walking), all add up to one fine image. Even the shadows are exposed correctly so we can read the street sign for context and the the highlights are in perfect control too. Technically and artistically well done

A nice shot of this quite winding street, which makes for a great subject. The man walking on his own finishes of the shot well. I like the light highlighting the colours on the houses. Good sharpness and details too.

Salut Jo mon voisin du jour :)
Elle est vraiment pas mal celle ci, tu t'en es bien sorti de la luminosité toujours difficile a dompter dans pareille situation (un gros bout dans l'ombre et un autre dans la lumière), la répartition est bonne et du coup elle est suffisante pour nous permettre d'admirer ces petites maisons colorées ... très sympa cette façade
