Photographer’s Note

I took this picture last October in Aalborg. (I think it is C.W. Obels Plads (=Square), but please correct me if I am wrong.

Aalborg (old spelling) or Ålborg (modern spelling) is the 4th city of Denmark, and the biggest city of the north of Jutland. It has about 160.000 inhabitants.

Aalborg is situated by the Limfjord, where the water is the most narrow.

The church you see in the middle is the Sankt Budolfi Kirke, devoted to the English Saint Budolfi, build in the 15th century, but the tower is from the 18th century.
(On Tue's side, there is a very good picture of this church.)

The interieur is just like the outside, very white, but inside, you find some beautiful old fresco's.

If you're going to visit Aalborg, than you should go out in Jomfrue Ane Gade (Virgin Ane Street), that's the street in the centre where everybody goes out. This street only consists of bars and cafés.

About the picture: I cropped a bit, made it a bit sharper and increased the red a little bit.
