icebergs on red sea Photo

Photographer’s Note

Red Sea, I exaggerate a bit but we are a few tens of meters Røde Øya (Red Island) whose red sandstone sediments color the fjord. Very gray sky with a few drops of rain. Winter is on the back here though it is on August 26. Not really easy to photograph, what do you think about this one ?

HI Paul,
I have never been in arctic area. Always tried to take warm south direction... But Your stunning photo(s) really make wanna wear some fur and visit Greenland :)

Hi Paul,
The most difficult thing is to reach to those places than making their photos, imo. But when you travel to those unearthy places without any trace of human beings, you become able to make such incredible photos. I like the drama of the grey sky. Good job!

Hi Paul, A really brilliant picture & the over cast sky is perfect here, it is great to see that the world still has some icebergs left, not for long I fear, the very slight blue tint is beautiful & the overall composition superb, kind regards Wilson.

Une belle symphonie de gris et de bleus et l'impression d'un calme....
J'aime beaucoup la lumière douce qui entoure des icebergs, cela donne une très belle photo.

Salut Paul,
Conditions difficiles tu nous dis ... pourtant ce rendu est très esthétique, toujours impressionnants ces icebergs et leurs formes torturés.
En voyant cette ligne bleue foncée j'ai tout de suite pensé à ton autre photo d'iceberg encore plus improssionnante avec son zigzag bleuté (comme j'avais parcouru tes galeries photos de ton périble)... bien de l'avoir mise en Ws pour illustrer ce phénomène, quoiqu 'elle aurait vraiment mérité pour son intéressant aspect une présentation en Une !

Bonjour,

Je pars des tulipes en Bretagne et je me retrouve sur des cathedrales de glace. Une tres belle ambiance.
Le bas de l image est un peu trop sombre et meriterait d etre eclairci, mais pour le reste, c est tres bien rendu.
