Photographer’s Note

In Scoresby Sund (on the northeast coast of Greenland), the largest fjord in the world, stop this afternoon at Sydkap (the "southcap") for a Zodiac cruise among icebergs, some of which very beautiful before landing for a walk on the side of Fangshytte (hytte = hut). Tonight we will make a short stop at around 11H30 pm at Charcot Havn (havn = port) where the famous explorer often came.

Tomorrow morning, stop in Ittoqqotoormiit before crossing the Strait of Denmark to Iceland by storm force 11, 8 to 9 m up to 12 m waves ... and I liked it ... ;)))

Brrrrrrrr , que frio me acaba de entrar de ver esta imagen , aqui en Valencia no estamos acostumbrados a tanto frio amigo.
Muy buena la perspectiva , el color y la luz es ideal sobre todo sabiendo lo complicado que es fotografiar hielo o nieve.

Superbe l'effet de la lumière sur cette paroi d'iceberg, bon piqué pour apprécier la beauté du monument et sa belle tonalité bleutée ... (Belle série avec le lien que tu nous proposes dans ta note, tes séries d'icebergs sont absolument magnifiques, les paysages et les teintes chaudes de la toundra de fin d'été ... et bonne prise lors de ta rencontre des boeufs musqués !)

Pour les creux de 12m, je te les laisse!!
Mais cette vue (un peu plus paisible) ça me va bien!!
les teintes sont vraiment superbes et malgré l''air sans doute froid, on sent une certaine douceur.
Il fonctionne le 510!!

Que c'est beau ! On est pas forcément attiré par ces contrées froides et lointaines , mais quels spectacles elles peuvent offrir . Magnifique lumière sur ces motifs glacés .

la texture, impecablement mise en valeur par cet éclairage rasant, est proprement saisissante... Bon, cet iceberg écrase un peu la compo, mais il le mérite amplement. :)
