Photographer’s Note
This photograph was taken in Greenland. During BSES expedition to the East Greenland, we were given a bit of free time, which we spent very wisely, by playing golf. I know one might say that it is strange to combine a real adventure with boring golf. But that is no the case, golf can be just as strenuous as an expedition to the Arctic.

Your photo made me laugh. I don't know if that is your purpose, but it was a delight to think of a golf ball in an ice field. Also, as far as the composition, the white golf ball just looks better on th ice than the grass!

What a great photo... a tee off into the snow/ ice!
Love the clarity and sharpness of the foreground, and the blurriness of the distance... 'where will the ball go?'
I'm sure it would be interesting playing on ice/ snow... but I wish you luck finding the white ball!!!
